By Michael NicholsonLast fall I attended the New England Biosolids and Residuals Association fall meeting in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The conference was excellent, well attended and the technical sessions were very interesting. Many topics were reviewed and any technical presentation that did not include the topic of PFAS was very much appreciated. But ultimately, the topic of PFAS had to be consideredand was done so, thoroughly and ad nauseam. The session ended with a panel discussion, at which time the following question was asked: “If you were on an elevator ride and had three minutes to explain what the answer for biosolids management in the Northeast would be in the next five years, what would be the message?” This was the billion-dollar question...Read the full story on Page 56
